π History
teamLab is a Japanese art collective founded in 2001, bringing together artists, programmers, engineers, architects and designers to create interactive digital artworks that blur the boundaries between art, science and nature.
teamLab Planets opened in Toyosu on 7 July 2018 as a limited-time exhibition. Its overwhelming popularity has resulted in multiple extensions, and the museum is currently scheduled to remain open until the end of 2027.
